How long will my treatment take?

Are there any guidelines as to what I can eat and drink when wearing the aligners?
Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign is removable so you can eat and drink as per usual. Brushing your teeth after every meal before putting your aligners in again will help maintain fresh breath and proper dental hygiene.

Will Invisalign aligners affect my speech?
In the beginning, you may have a very slight lisp, but this will disappear after a day or two once your tongue adapts to the new appliance.

Will smoking stain my aligners?
We discourage smoking while wearing the aligners because this can discolour them.

Can I chew gum while wearing the aligners?
No. If you need to chew gum or eat snacks, you should remove your aligners because the gum can stick to the aligners and remove them from your teeth.

How do clean my aligners?
Cleaning the aligners is easy. We advise that you brush and rinse them in lukewarm water at least once a day.
